North Australian Diamonds controls the mineral rights to diamonds over an extensive portfolio of exploration tenements aggregating approximately 27,653sq km within the Arnhem Land region of the Northern Territory.

The Company was previously a party to a farm-in agreement with De Beers Australia Exploration Limited ("DBAE") whereby it could earn a 100% interest for all commodities in tenements with a total project area of 13,200sq km in the Arnhem Land region of the Northern Territory. The Company purchased all rights and titles to the De Beers tenements and in 2007 North Australian Diamonds acquired the contractual right to obtain an 80% interest in 2 new tenements covering approximately 2,000sq km in the western region of Arnhem Land. The project area covers thirty-nine separate tenements of which thirteen are currently held under veto status. These tenements have in part been held by DBAE since 1979, however due to veto restrictions imposed by Aboriginal groups, no exploration has been conducted. Four of the tenements, totaling 1,800sq km, are available for immediate exploration.

Swancove and Red River Resources Joint Venture Agreement

NADL has a contractual right to obtain 80% interest in 2 tenements covering approximately 2,097sq km of land in the prospective western region of Arnhem Land. The Company's rights to acquire an 80% interest in the 2 tenements is conditional on the grant of these tenements, which are currently at the application stage.

Reconnaissance Sampling

The Company has conducted a number of reconnaissance stream sampling programs on its granted tenements in Arnhem Land with a total of 109 samples having been collected to date.

Processing of reconnaissance stream samples collected in 2010 was completed during the second quarter of 2011 with no diamond indicator minerals of potentially kimberlitic origin reported to date. Further reconnaissance sampling conducted in August 2011 consisted of stream gravel sampling on five tenements and infill loam sampling on an additional tenement which had previously reported microdiamonds. These samples are currently being processed

Access Meetings

Following the successful negotiation of an exploration and mining agreement for ELA330, this tenement progressed to grant. Final consultation meetings were held for ELA's 331, 3337, 10230, 10233, 24376, 24702, and 24703 with 6 of these tenements now expected to proceed to grant.
